Service and product pages dominate the top positions. The weakest results are broad single-word terms — “d wall” at 19, “ground improvement” at 20 — where search intent is mostly educational rather than commercial.
How to read these numbers
What this evidence does not prove. We publish this because a number without its limits is a claim, not proof.
- No enquiry, traffic or revenue data was supplied for this client. This is a visibility snapshot only — search growth and return on investment cannot be calculated from it.
- Positions are a user-supplied list with no stated measurement date, device or location, and have not been independently verified in a controlled SERP.
- An earlier 33-keyword sheet reports different positions using a different method. The two do not fully agree.
- Two positions are supplied as ranges (“2 / 3”, “3 / 6”) rather than a single number.
- “AI Overview: Yes” is reported visibility, not a measured position. No screenshot, citation link, tracking date or resulting traffic was supplied, and it does not establish that SEO work caused the appearance.
- Individual activity dates were not supplied, so no specific action is claimed as the cause of any specific ranking.
The starting point
Grimtech Projects is a ground-engineering and deep-foundation contractor: piling, diaphragm walls, pile testing, ground improvement and equipment hire. Its buyers are structural engineers, project managers and contractors — people who search in precise technical language and who are researching long before anyone requests a quote.
This is the opposite of a local-services SEO problem. Nobody types “piling near me”. They type “high strain dynamic load test in India”, and they expect the result to be written by someone who has actually done one.
What we did
The site was structured around how engineers search, not how the company is organised. Each service got its own page — bored piles, micro piles, sheet pile installation, diaphragm walls, jet grouting, pile testing — rather than one “Services” page listing everything.
Alongside that, technical guides for the research stage: D-wall construction, deep soil mixing, stone column ground improvement, vibro float. These are the searches that happen months before a tender, and ranking for them is how a specialist contractor gets onto a shortlist.
Equipment hire was treated as a separate funnel entirely. “Vibro hammer on rent” is a different buyer with a different timeline, competing largely against IndiaMART listings.
What happened
Five position-1 rankings, including the two most commercially valuable in the set:
- “Piling Contractor in Delhi” — 1
- “Deep Foundation Solutions (India)” — 1
- “Sheet Pile Installation Price” — 1
- “High Strain Dynamic Load Test in India” — 1
- “vibro float in india” — 1
Across the tracked list, 25 of 33 queries sit in the top 10 and 15 in the top 3. The technical guides paid off: “stone column” at 2, “impact hammer in India” at 3, “jet grouting” at 6.
Eight queries also show an AI Overview appearance in the supplied tracker — Google’s generated answer citing the site. That is worth noting and worth being careful about, which we cover below.
Where it is weak
Broad single-term searches are the soft spot: “d wall” at 19, “ground improvement” at 20, “spun pile contractor” at 22, “Diaphragm Wall Construction in India” at 31, and both “Pile Testing Solutions” and “Non-destructive Testing” reported only as “>20”. Several of these are terms where the page that ranks is not the page that should — “Diaphragm Wall Construction in India” points at the generic piling contractor URL rather than the diaphragm wall page, which is a fixable internal-linking problem.
What this does not prove — and this one matters
This case study is visibility only. Unlike the other clients here, no Search Console data, no enquiry log and no won-project values were supplied for Grimtech. We cannot tell you what these rankings earned, and we are not going to imply it.
Two further cautions. The positions come from a user-supplied list with no measurement date, and an earlier sheet for the same site reports different numbers by a different method — so treat these as a snapshot, not a controlled measurement. And the AI Overview column records a “Yes” with no screenshot, citation or date behind it: it indicates reported visibility, not a ranking position, and nothing in the files shows it produced traffic.
Month by month
What we did, and when
Structure
A page per service, not per brochure
Bored piles, micro piles, sheet piling, diaphragm walls, jet grouting and pile testing each given a dedicated page, matching how engineers search.
Content
Technical guides for research-stage searches
Long-form guides on D-wall construction, deep soil mixing, stone columns and vibro float — the questions asked before a contractor is shortlisted.
Rentals
Equipment hire treated as its own funnel
Vibro hammer and micro piling rental pages targeting hire intent, which competes against IndiaMART rather than other contractors.
